The sequencing core facility at IMB (SCF) was established to promote the advancement of research in diverse fields such as genomics, personalized medicine, and environmental sciences and to foster collaborations between researchers across multiple institutions. The SCF provides access to high-throughput DNA sequencing technologies and related services. The SCF is equipped with state-of-the-art sequencing instruments, including long-read platforms, Illumina systems, and more. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive suite of tools to support sample preparation and ensure the quality of all sample types. Contact us to explore how we can turn your research ideas into publication-ready data while meeting your budget.
In collaboration with the Armenian Bioinformatics Institute’s Bioinformatics Core Facility and IMB’s Bioinformatics Group, we offer a complete pipeline from sample processing to data analysis and interpretation. SCF also supports the Molecular Diagnostics Unit of IMB.
This facility was founded in the frames of «Infrastructure Strengthening Grant 2022», «Advanced Research Grant 2021 (21AG-1F021)», and «Adjunct Research Professorship Program 2024 (24RL-1F029)» grants by the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Science, Education, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, «Instrumental Access 2017» grant by Seeding Labs Foundation, and ARPA Institute.
